Space policy in Finland
Administration of space activities in Finland takes place in a decentralised manner – the Finnish Space Committee acts as the coordinating body. In key roles are Tekes - the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation, the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, the Academy of Finland, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The Finnish Space Committee makes propositions and proposals and gives statements on matters related to space research, education and industrial development, exploitation of knowledge derived from space activities, and national and international cooperation.
